Continuando con la tradición, este año también voy a
comentar algunos de los vestidos que más me han gustado o que más han llamado
mi atención de los Globos de Oro.
Empecemos con uno de mis favoritos.
Continuing with the tradition, this year I’m going to
comment on some of the dresses I liked the most or some of the ones who called
my attention of the Golden Globes.
Let’s start with one of my favourites.

Beckinsale
He visto a muy poca gente comentar sobre este precioso
Zuhair Murad (soy tan fan de esta firma) de corte sirena y palabra de honor, en
plateado con el que ha asistido Kate Beckinsale a la gala.
No es nada que no hayamos visto ya antes, pero debe ser
que tengo predilección por este tipo de vestidos porque el año pasado mi favorito
de los Oscar fue el de Naomi Watts, de tonos similares.
I’ve seen just a few people comment on this gorgeous
strapless mermaid style gown by Zuhair Murad (I'm a big fan of this house) Kate
Beckinsale wore to the event.
Is not something we haven’t seen before, but it must
be that I have a weak point for this type of dresses because last year my
favourite dress from the Oscars was the one Naomi Watts wore, in similar tones.
Debo decir que al principio no me convenció nada su
look. Esa moda de llevar vestido y pantalones no termina de gustarme.
Pero a base de verla en todos y cada uno de los tweets
de mi TL, desde veinte ángulos distintos.
La apertura del vestido en la espalda es muy bonita, y
elegante a la par que sexy. Además yo siempre apuesto por la originalidad
dentro de lo clásico, y esto es como más de lo mismo pero, de repente ¡tadá!
(Me explico como un libro cerrado con la portada llena de polvo, lo siento)
Con este conjunto de Raf Simons para Dior, estás
aprobada querida Emma.
I should say at first I wasn’t entirely convinced
about her look. That trend of wearing a dress and pants doesn’t fully like me.
But after seeing her in every tweet of my TL, from
twenty different angles, I ended up liking it.
The aperture in the back is very beautiful, and
elegant and sexy at the same time. Also, I always bet for the originality into
the classical, and this look is like the same as always but, suddenly, tada! (I
explain myself like a closed book with the cover full of dust, sorry)

Su vestido no es lo más impresionante que haya visto
nunca, más bien lo contrario, pero hay algo que me ha llamado la atención.
Llámalo el contraste del rojo con su piel, llámalo el
escote barco o llámalo que tengo una obsesión con las capas que me hace adorar
todo aquello que lleve una (o casi todo) El caso es que me ha gustado su Ralph
Lauren en rojo pasión.
Her gown is not the most impressive thing I have ever
seen, pretty much the opposite, but there’s something in it that called my
attention.
Call it the contrast between the red of the gown and
the color of her skin, call it the off-the-shoulder neckline or call it that I
have an obsession with capes that makes me adore anything that has one (or
almost) The thing is that I liked her Ralph Lauren in passion red.

Lawrence
No todo van a ser aprobados. Aquí tenemos a Jennifer
Lawrence luciendo lo que sería un precioso vestido de Dior de no ser por la
cinta que lleva a la altura de los muslos.
En serio ¿por qué? ¿Por qué Jennifer? ¿Por qué Dior? ¿POR
QUÉ?
El vestido es monísimo. Blanco... Palabra de honor....
Tul en la falda.. Precioso. Pero de repente le meten esa cinta a esa altura y
lo convierten en un saco de patatas…
Bueno, para gustos los colores… y las cintas. Eso sí, lo
que me he podido reír con las parodias del vestido lo compensa todo.
But not all are passes. Here we have Jennifer Lawrence
wearing what it would be a wonderful gown by Dior if it wasn’t for that tape
around her thighs zone.
Really, why? Why Jennifer? Why Dior? WHY?
The dress is cute... White. Strapless... Tulle skirt…
Gorgeous. But suddenly they put that tape at that height and make the dress
into a potatoes sack.
Well, at least I laughed with all the parodies of the dress
on the internet.

Guapísima con un vestido verde de Jenny Packham que le
favorecía tanto de color como de figura.
Sin duda, aprobada.
Stunning with a green gown by Jenny Packham that
flattered her figure and her skin tone.
No doubt, PASS!
Amy
Adams
Con un escotazo que ya quisieran muchas poder lucir, Amy
Adams ha estado impresionante en la “red carpet” con un valentino bicolor en
tonos rojos, por supuesto, y con la espalda totalmente al aire.
¡Sí señor!
With a cleavage a lot of girl would want to be able to
sport, Amy Adams looked stunning on the red carpet with a bicolor Valentino in
red tones, of course, and with completely bare back.
Ten for you Amy!
Volvamos a los suspensos por un momento.
Lo primero que he pensado cuando he visto a Sofia
Vergara: espero que haya reservado dos asientos en la gala porque la falda de
ese vestido ocupa más que algunas de las asistentes.
Lo único bueno que le puedo sacar al look es que el
collar azul quedaba muy bien con el tono moreno de su piel.
Let’s go back to the fails for a moment.
The first thing I thought when I saw Sofia Vergara: I
hope she reserved two sits for the event because the skirt of that dress
occupies more than some of the attendants.
The only good thing about the look is that the blue
necklace looks really good with her tan skin tone.

Otra que está embarazada es Olivia Wilde ¡Menudo baby
boom ha habido últimamente!

perfectamente su barriguita.

Su vestido me ha parecido uno de esos vestidos sencillos

colores cálidos que tan bien le sientan y ha acudido a la gala con un vestido de

con mangas de encaje y cut-outs.
The stylist and tv host is loyal to the warm colors
that look so good on her and went to the event wearing a coral gown by Monique

La moda de enseñar la pierna ya cansa bastante, pero la
verdad es que tanto el color como la forma del vestido me han gustado. Y es un
Versace, así que lo de la pierna era de esperar.
I’m very tired of that trend of showing the leg but,
to be honest, I liked both the color and the shape of the dress. And it’s a
Versace, so the thing with the leg is not a surprise.

Como ya he dicho miles de veces, menos es más. Un
vestido blanco de Gucci de lo más simple con abertura y detalles de pedrería en
plateado y verde, a juego con los zapatos. Perfecta.
As I said a million times before, less is more. A very

and green, just as the shoes. Perfect.
